Completed Public Works Projects While in Office:

  • ISO Rating of 1, making us one of the to 1% of all Fire Rescue Agencies in the Nation

  • Fire Station 78 rebuilt with Albert Paley original art sculpture

  • Creation of Fire Station 36

  • Expanded Mutual Aid Agreements with sister-Cities for the safety of our Residents and Businesses

  • Hired more Fire Fighters/Paramedics, and improved response times

  • Expanded our Fleet Renovation of Fire Station 41

  • Expansion of surveillance cameras, card access, fiber connectivity, and security infrastructure at City facilities, parks, and pump stations.

  • New Emergency Traffic Signal at Fire Station #15, improving response times and firefighter safety on Hiatus Road (near completion).

  • Nine new BSO positions added, increasing patrol presence, traffic enforcement, and neighborhood safety initiatives

  • Full implementation of Phase I recommendations citywide, strengthening park and facility safety standards

  • Citywide Resurfacing Program Phases I & II completed and underway across multiple Mainlands sections and Hiatus Road

  • Raised crosswalks, ADA ramps, drainage upgrades, and resurfacing near Challenger Elementary and Millennium Middle School

  • East Side Water Distribution System Expansion giving Tamarac full control of potable water service citywide

  • Water Treatment Plant Control Building Replacement - New Category IV hurricane-resistant facility
