Big City Girl Turned
Small Town Gal

Tamarac’s been a part of my life for decades. Since 1978, I spent many holidays and vacations coming down from New York to visit family and friends until I finally made it my permanent home on Independence Day 1994.

Heart & Hustle

My early years in Tamarac were spent working full-time at a busy non-profit while earning my way into law school. Studying around the clock, allowed me graduate early in three years in May 2000. Soon after, I joined the law firm of Saunders, Curtis, Ginestra & Gore, P.A. (SCGG), where I practiced for nearly ten years before assuming leadership of the firm in 2010. Today, I continue my legal work at SCGG in real estate, estate planning and probate, civil litigation, and mediation, and am licensed to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, and New York.

A Dedication to Service

I've had the great honor of serving as Tamarac's Mayor since November 2018. From July 2010 to 2018, I served as Tamarac's District 2 Commissioner, including four terms as Vice Mayor. Along with my duties as Mayor, I've enjoyed serving on more than 20 local committees.

Present affiliations include the Urban Land Institute Leadership Institute, MPO Roundtable Steering Committee, Broward County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, the Dellenbach Foundation, Broward County Planning Council, Broward Water Resources Task Force, and Kiwanis Club of Tamarac.

Family Values

I’m grateful for the never-ending support of my mother CJ, my husband Bruce, and my 4 furbabies: Panda, Kaos, Cookie, and Liberty) who always keep me smiling.

To all my extended family, friends, and neighbors: THANK YOU for all your continued love and encouragement. 💜
